China National Complete Plant Import & Export Guangzhou Company Ltd. (Complant Guangzhou) is a subsidiary of China National Complete Plant Import & Export Corporation Group (Complant Group), which is one of the Top 1,000 enterprises in China. The headquarter of Complant Guangzhou locates on 6/F, Foreign Economic Building, No. 31,Xianlie Nan Road, Guangzhou and there are two subsidiaries with independent legal person----Foreign Economic Service Center and Material Supply Center----under its administration.
For more than 40 years since its establishment in 1961, Complant Guangzhou, on Commission from the Chinese Government, has participated in management and organization of the implementation of many economic and technical assistance projects and export projects of complete plant. In addition, some other forms of business have been also introduced, such as international contracting projects, labor service cooperation, real estate, tourism service, storage service and international freight forwarding service. The Company has achieved tremendous accomplishment over the past 40 years, thus enjoying a high prestige at home and abroad.
In 1993, the company was restructured to be a comprehensive foreign trade and economic enterprise. And to meet the requirement of the reform of the national system of organizati0n, in the beginning of 1999, the Complant Guangzhou was changed into a company Ltd. By far mainly based on importing and exporting complete plants, mechanical and electronic products and technology, the Company has become a company with many-faceted business including scientific and technologic assistance, industry, commerce and service trades. In 2002, Complant Guangzhou's turnover amounted to 520 million yuan and the total volume of import and export exceeded USD 61 million.
