Eastcolight (Hong Kong) Ltd., a member of the Eastco Group, was established in 1991, and is credited with bringing quality microscopes, telescopes, binoculars, and other fine optical devices to the market. Eastcolight believes in leveraging the convergence of education and fun. The Group has expanded to comprise of four main divisions, i.e. Eastcolight's headquarter located in Hong Kong, the factory in Zhongshan City, China, a new office in Macau (since 2004), and a wholesale store opened at the Guangzhou International Toys and Gifts Center in September 2005. These subsidiaries provide the complete integration of R&D to manufacturing to marketing services, which has led to shortened lead-time and increase efficiency resulting in lower unit costs.
