Guangzhou Shenglong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech technology enterprise of Sino-foreign joint venture mainly focusing on the development and application of digital audio and video technology and for the professional design and manufacture and sales of audio-visual digital products. The main products include digital still cameras, digital video cameras, digital camera binoculars, digital photo frame, and mini computers.

Founded in 1999, more than 10,000 square meters of modernized manufacturing base for digital products have been built in Dongsha Industrial Park in Liwan District of Guangzhou City, including tooling workshop, plastic injection workshop, SMT workshop, wave soldering workshop, digital products laboratories, clean production workshop, and bonding workshop etc., and such electronic products as digital cameras etc. with annual production capacity of more than 2 million units. Relying on technology and talents-centered, the company is committed to technology research and development and personnel training, and is carrying out long-term technical cooperation with a number of research institutions in Hsinchu Hi-tech Technology Park in Taiwan. R & D institutions or offices have been set up in the United States, Canada, Shenzhen and other places, and in 2007 "Guangzhou Shenglong Digital Imaging Engineering Technology Research and Development Center" was set up in Liwan District. The establishment of practice base in South China Normal University and successful cooperation with the provincial and ministry-level institutions for production, study, and research for technology projects, the master of key technology and independent intellectual property rights for a number of digital audio-visual products, and the successful development of a variety of new products best-sold in European and American market are all the accomplishment of this company.

Shenglong Company has passed ISO9001: 2000 quality control system certification, and has successfully introduced the ERP System of Digital China. All product design should pass the strict verification for design engineering, such as EVT, DVT and environmental testing etc., which should not only pass through the composite product testing certification by China Institute of Camera, but also shall be in line with such strict technical quality requirements as ROHS standards and CE & FCC etc.

In 2000, production of 1,000,000-pixel digital cameras.
In 2001, production of the first handheld CMOS 1,000,000-pixel digital camcorder.
In 2003, won the right to export independently.
In 2004, won the policy-oriented investment support from Guangzhou Municipal Government
In 2004, production of the first 5,000,000-pixel digital camera.
In 2005, officially upgraded to a high-tech enterprise of Guangzhou City, and was listed by the Government as a high-tech enterprise for key support.
In 2006, formally passed ISO9001 quality control system.
In 2006, the establishment of branch plant for SMT paste production.
