R&D has always represented an essential strategic choice. The current investment into this area amounts to approximately 18%  of the parent company's turnover.

Since being incorporated in 1981, Solution Laser's researchers have promoted and collaborated with leading national centres  in scientific research projects.

Its ongoing and increasingly broader participation in national and international research projects have enriched its internal  know-how, contributing considerably towards the dynamic and versatile qualities of its numerous production lines. Worth  noting among the internal R&D department's most recent results is the excimer light for laser devices used in curing  psoriasis.

A 5000 W laser source has been designed and created in the industrial field for cutting and welding metals, and markers have  been produced with a working range of 160 cm x 160 cm for decorating fabrics and leather materials.

Innovative, non-destructive laser methods are being developed for diagnostic for preservation in the cultural heritage  sector.
