Complying with the standards and testing methods specified in JG149-2003 [External thermal insulation composite systems based on expanded polystyrene] promulgated by Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development of P.R.China, all indexes of our products are up to or even above the standards as shown in the data of testing department of China Academy of Building Research Shanghai Branch. After properly installation, our products can work for about 50 years. Accordingly, our products can serve as the ideal materials for external wall decoration of houses, renovation of old houses and decoration of shops. Freeze-thaw resistance test method Place specimens in drying cabinet for 16 hours at constant temperature(50±3)°C, then soak the specimens into (20±3)°C water for 8 hours before putting them into freezer (-20±3)°C for 24 hours. The three processes (48h) make one cycle. After 10 cycles(20 days), only no phenomenon of cracks, hollows and peeling off occurred indicates that the products are up to grade. A very easy and effective way to judge the quality of a mortar coated EPS product is to soak a specimen into water for 24 hours then to see if grains of sand or others can be scraped off easily from the coating layer. |
