| Description: | Aramid thread is twisted by aramid fibre, which has very good heat resistant properties and exceptionally high tensile strength. It is used in protective clothing used by fire fighter and police. Aramid thread is not recommended for applications that requires prolonged exposure to very high temperature, thus, it is used for manufacturing military and civilian protective clothing where short flame or heat resistance is required. We have para-aramid thread (1414) and meta-aramid (1313) thread, both have very good strength, especially para-aramid thread which is anti-cutting, ideal for anti-cutting gloves. Some of our customers cannot afford the high cost of aramid thread, while they need fire retardant effect of this thread, so we developed our Velve fireproof thread. Made with polyester staple fibre and special agent, it can distinguish automatically once fire touched. |
