The factory-set clutch reduces sudden, high-torque reactions if the bit jams. The 360-degree side handle adapts easily for tight spaces. An electro-pneumatic hammer mechanism permits drilling with less noise, vibration, and engagement force than round shank hammer drills. It has a range of 0 to 1,150 rpm and 0 to 5,800 bpm. The common contractor usage range is 5/32- to 5/8-inch solid bit and 1- to 2-1/2-inch thin wall core bit, and the maximum recommended capacity is 7/8-inch solid bit. The fan-cooled XR+ batteries with the fan-cooled charger keeps the battery pack cool, providing up to three times more charges.
