The solar panel is built-in with 3 LED indicators telling you strength of solar charging current in the range of 30%-60%-90% with more LEDs meaning stronger solar charging current. You can also add in more solar panels by connecting them in series to increase the solar charging current so as to shorten the charging time for the internal battery of charger. Solar panel : 1.4W
