| Description: | Cementitious Capillary Crystalline Waterproofing Coating Use K11 Cementitious Capillary Crystalline Waterproofing Coating is inorganic dry-mix waterproofing material which is made from silicate cement, silica sand and other special active chemical material. When it is with water, the active chemical material permeate to the internal capillary of the cement and react with ionization, non-hydration element of cement so that come into be dendrite-like crystalline solid which is water insoluble. This crystalline solid combines with cement become one and protect construction from water and liquid. On non-water condition, the active chemical material is sleeping. But when light crack appears on cement surface or interior, the active chemical material can be hydrated and becomes new crystalline solid if it meets water. It repairs the crack automatically to make waterproof effect permanently. Areas of application: Basement, underground garage, potable water tank, swimming pool, storage, subway, tunnel, nuclear power station, port, ect. Application 1. The surface must be pre-wetted to saturation and be thoroughly damp, but have no free water on it; 2. Mix 25kg K11 Crystalline powder into 8kg of clean water. It is recommended to use low cycled (350r/min) electrical mixer in order to make the mortar homogeneous; 3. K11 crystalline is applied in two layers. The second layer is applied 20 minutes after application of the first layer in the opposite direction (for example, the second layer should be applied in horizontal direction if the first layer is applied in vertical direction) while the first is still green. In no instance should be total thickness exceed 5mm; 4. Before applying further coating, e. G. Renders, tile adhesive etc onto K11 crystalline to fully cure, allow it to fully cure and the ceramic tiling application may star minimum 24 hours after application of K11 Crystalline. Precautions 1. The solid substrate should be clean, dry and free of oils, grease, wax, latex compounds, curing compounds, dust and all foreign matter; Products should be applied at ambient temperatures between +5º C and +40º C; 2. K11 Crystalline should not be directly exposed to water or sunlight for 24 hours after application, approx. Waiting for minimum 3 days to fill water tanks or potable water tanks after application of K11 Crystalline. 3. Attention should be given to wrapping up those parts which do not need waterproofing application in bundles to the internal surface especially during water tank and swimming pool application; 4. A net should be used to prevent K11 Crystalline from getting damaged at corner points during water tank, swimming pool, terrace, and balcony application. Coverage Coverage is approx. 1.5kg/m2 on the basis of a thickness of 1.0 mm.
