Green Strainer

Strainee is the world first green disposable/reusable strainer made from cornstarch. May 2010, Strainee received The Most Eco-Friendly Product Award at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas.

In our everyday life we use disposable dishes, utensils, food containers and razor blades among others because they are hygienic, inexpensive and convenient.

Why not strainers? No one ever thought about this except Strainee inventors.

All over the planet people are using their original stainless steel or plastic strainers in their homes, offices, hospitals, hotels and schools. These strainers become rife with germs and bacteria due to their continuous contact with food, hair etc.

I have developed a line of earth friendly sink, bathtub, and shower strainers to solve the above problems. I named it "Strainee." Since Strainees are made of cornstarch, it takes as little as six months to biodegrade, whereas existing products will take hundreds of years to do so. If birds, squirrels, or rabbits eat Strainee after disposal, it takes even less than a day for biodegrading.

Strainee is a truly environmentally friendly product. They provide a low cost method of practicing good hygiene and earth friendly responsibility.

Although Strainee is a disposable product, customers can reuse for up to two months with one piece. Spending just $1.99-2.49 for one package of Strainee, customers can use for a full year.

Strainee is unique to the market place, in that they offer a disposable, low cost, and hygienic method of drain clog prevention.

My design will perfectly compliment your existing line of product mix. My products' convenience and disposability will offer your customers an option and boost your sales with repetitive purchases because of the disposability. I do not believe all strainer customers will buy Strainee. But, some strainer customers will like it and definitely switch from unhygienic, stinky, and expensive metal strainers.

In the past two trade shows in Manhattan and Philadelphia, I sold Strainee. 20% of men visited my booth bought Strainee; whereas 80% of women visited my booth bought 1-6 sets of Strainee.
