SMC is the abbreviation of Sheet Molding Compound, it is often called unsaturated polyester dough molding compound in China. It's made up of glass fibers unsaturated resin, fillers and various additives. SMC has excellent electrical performance, corrosion resistance, light weight and engineering design, easy, flexible, etc., its mechanical properties can be comparable with some of metal materials, thus SMC / SMC sheet / glass fiber reinforced unsaturated poly - ester SMC is widely used in transport vehicles, construction, electronics / electrical and other industries. SMC sheet material is produced by a special SMC production line for processing and covered on both sides with polyethylene film.
