KWONG LUEN TAI GROUP (KLT) has been an active player in Hong Kong and China’s garment industry since 1972. It is one of the major garment suppliers of large foreign Department Stores such as Tesco, May & Co. and JC Penny in the past 20 years.
Although garment industry used to be a very important industry in Hong Kong, severe competitions from other developing countries are drastically deteriorating its profitability. In view of this, KLT has decided to vertically expand their business portfolio in order to look for other profit generating channels.
A subsidiary company—NUIT SONG WEAR HOLDINGS LTD. has been set-up to start establish their own fashion brand for both retail and wholesale at the same time.

OUR FASHION BOUTIQUES… |
NUIT SONG WEAR ’s first fashion boutique—heere has been opened for business on Sept 06, 2002:
Address: No. 58 to No. 60 Kimberley Road
TST, Kowloon, Hong Kong
Retail space: Around 750 sq. ft in size, hoping to provide a cozy and comfortable place for shoppers.
We are also preparing to open our second fashion boutique on January 2003:
Address: Wellington Street, Central, Hong Kong (Detail address TBC)
Retail space: Around 1000 sq. ft, which allows the display of more fashion apparels.
Store layout: Will be similar to our boutique in Kimberley Road in order to unify the store image of heere.

In order to further promote and enhance the brand image of heere, NUIT SONG WEAR also plans to introduce their products to other regions by participating in International Trade Shows and Exhibitions.

NUIT SONG WEAR plans to implement the “living store” concept eventually once heere.’s performance has been stabilized.
Additional accessories such as handbags and shoes will be carried in order to provide a one-stop shopping place for customers.
The company is having discussion with different types of supplier in order to introduce selective “non-fashion” items into the retail outlets and develop the “living store” image.
On the other hand, they are also under negotiations with potential buyers in Taiwan and Singapore in order to establish heere.’s overseas consignment counters.
