Eastcolight (Hong Kong) Ltd., a member of the Eastco Group, was established in 1991, and is credited with bringing quality microscopes, telescopes, binoculars, and other fine optical devices to the market. In keeping with the company's long-standing tradition of innovation, quality, durability, and value, Eastcolight believes in leveraging the convergence of education and fun. The Group has expanded to comprise of four main divisions, i.e. Eastcolight's headquarter located in Hong Kong, the Eastco Enterprise factory in Zhongshan City, China, a new office in Macau (since 2004), and a wholesale store opened at the Guangzhou International Toys and Gifts Center in September 2005. These subsidiaries provide the complete integration of R&D to manufacturing to marketing services, which has led to shortened lead-time and increase efficiency resulting in lower unit costs.

The manufacturing operations are housed in a well-equipped, 600,000 square feet facility that addresses the market's need for high-quality products in required volumes, as well as a timely and cost-effective manner. The factory with 8 buildings employs technically trained craftsmen, engineers, and over two thousand skillful labors who utilize in-house technologies for product design, tooling, injection, color-spraying, pad-printing, assembling, and warehousing. With an eye towards expansion, additional facilities are underway to further double Eastcolight's production capacity.

Directing the discipline towards quality control has allowed the company to attain ISO 9001 certification. Eastcolight's service does not limit to her immediate customers, i.e. the public sales channels like importers, wholesalers and major retailers, but she also reaches the end-users by providing personal assistance. Through this, a strong bond of confidence in guaranteed quality between end-users, the public sales channels, and Eastcolight herself is firmly created.

By actively participating in worldwide trade fairs and sponsoring public activities, Eastcolight is well recognized by the market as an active, fast-growing, reliable, and socially-conscious vendor.
