Titanium ASTM B348 grade 2 fasterners

The mechanical properties of pure Titanium Gr2 fasterners are in fact controlled by "alloying" to various levels of oxygen and nitrogen to obtain strength level between approximately 290 and 550 MPa.

Grade 2 Titanium fasterners has good ductility, which allows for cold formability. A mixture of argon and helium is typically preferred in Grade 2 Titanium fasterners but should be proven before accepting a procedure.
