- The SUBWAY signs are individual channel letters mounted directly to the building surface with the transformers and GTO (high voltage) wiring installed behind the wall. All GTO wiring is run in watertight conduit.
- The illumination is either by neon tubing or LED lighting.
- The faces of the letters are either 1/8" or 3/16" thick acrylic with a 1" Jewelite trim cap to fasten the faces to the letters. The thickness depends on the height of the letter. Generally, any letters over 24" high we would recommend 3/16" thick material.
- All the signs are constructed to meet or exceed the UL requirements and/or any local codes.
