“fantastic Road” Brand—glass Beads For Road Marking
Glass beads, used as refracting materials, have the characters of well stability, high refractive index and good refractive effect.
In order to improve the safety of driving at night, the glass beads have been used in the road marking lines. When the lamp shines on the marking line, the ray of lamp can be reflected parallely by the glass beads so that the driver can see the road clearly thus increasing the safety. The life span of road marking line has been extended by mixing different size of glass beads. When the bigger glass beads have been worn down, the smaller ones still have refractive effect.
The glass beads as refracting materials can be classified into two kinds class A (premix) and class B (drop on). We usually premixed the glass beads of class A into the paint for road marking to have well refraction performance, which will improve driving safety. The glass beads of class B are normally dropped on the painted road markings to improve refracting effect.

Refractive index: ≥ 1.5 (normal glass beads) ≥ 1.6-1.7 (mineral glass beads)
Color: Colorless transparent (or white)
Shape: spherical particles, fluidity

Roundness: ≥ 85% (According to customer's requirements specifications)
Density: 2.4-2.6g/cm3
