According to Japanese JST standard, the design of the carports has taken into consideration effective resistance to snow (max 20cm thick snow), strong wind resistance (max 42m/s wind).

The downcomer is made from ABS engineering plastics with unique and user friendly design to prevent the rain water from falling directly to the ground and splashing about to soil you and your car. The pipework is also well structured to facilitate the cleaning process, making it easier to clear debris inside the pipe.
