Histas A.S. was founded in 1987 for the purpose to construct high level private homes and villas all over Turkey. Our construction group has taken part in developing and constructing 4 villa compounds with hundreds of private homes in and around Istanbul Turkey. In 1992, company partners have discovered huge opportunities in Outdoor Furniture and Accessories sector in Turkey and decided to establish Garden Life® (now the leading company in Garden Furniture in Turkey). Reaching more than 10 retail stores and wide distribution network in a short time, Garden Life has become the leading turnover generator of the group to this day. The company widened its approach in the retail segment by establishing Home Life and Everything chain of stores to reach a wider clientele carrying more than 40.000 SKUs serving its customers in Outdoor and Indoor Furniture, Housewares, Home Textile, accessories and all related materials for the design of beautiful homes.
The group's founding roots go back to the 1960's when Cambol family started to produce the first polyester water tanks in Turkey. Adding polyethylene tanks, rotomoulding and various products made from these raw materials to its collection, Polsan became the leader in water storage solutions in Turkey. In the course of time, the factory took a different route in the early 70’s to become a world leading company in Cast Iron Roll industry constantly growing to this day.
Combined experience in the production of steel and continuing interest in the Water and Liquid storage systems resulted in the establishing of Ekotank in late 2007 to become a one of a kind producer of all storage needs in Turkey. Company started to produce bladder/pillow tanks in the beginning and ongoing innovation resulted in the creation of Apollo, Star, Mars and Pluton Series. Ekotank today manufactures water and liquid storage systems from 5 liters to 3.000.000 liters using state of the art machinery, various materials and top of the line techniques. Resources include a state of the art High Frequency welding machine park, a full steel workshop able to cut, bend, punch and rollform steel panels and a separate production facility for rotomoulded polyethylene and polyester.
