Standard & Application:
XuFan buried polyethylene pipes for gas are produced and inspected according to the requirement of national standard GB/15558.1-2003 Buried PE Pipes for Gas. By wall thickness, the polyethylene pipes are divided into SDR17.6 for natural gas and SDR11 for manufactured coal gas, natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas (gas state).
Features:
Corrosion resistance: Polyethylene (PE), as inert material, can resist the corrosion of many chemical media except a few strong oxidizers. It is free of electrochemical corrosion and needs no anti-corrosion coating.
Leakage resistance: PE gas pipes mainly adopt electric melting and thermal melting to integrate pipeline system. Compared with rubber sealed joint and mechanical joint, it is a kind o f pipeline with excellent shock resistance.
High tenacity: Polyethylene gas pipes are of high tenacity with breaking elongation ≥350%. It has a strong adaptability to uneven sedimentation of tube base and excellent shock resistance.
Excellent flexibility: The flexibility of polyethylene makes PE pipes at the diameter ≤160mm able to roll up. Applied in construction without cutting grooves, PE pipes have strikes changeable according to construction methods.
