"THCMC" Food Grade CMC is a high-purity, fine cellulose ether, which can be used in food, yoghourt ,acid beverage and refreshment.It shows excellent thickening effectiveness, emulsification and formation ability, expansibility, stability and fresh-keeping ability as a water solvable semi-biopolymer.

Using in yoghourt, THCMC Food Grade CMC prevents protein agglomerating, settling and delaminating. When THCMC Food Grade CMC dissolving in the beverage formulation it gives a very fine syrup flavor, as makes the beverage tastes great.Its outstanding homogeneous substitution and acid resistance guarantees the storage stability.

Furthermore, THCMC Food Grade CMC is used in ice cream to form a stable and well dispersed mixture which is composed of water, oil and protein. CMC prevents ice crystal forming and aids the mixture gain higher expansibility. Also CMC make ice cream structure well and taste comfortable.

While using in bread and cakes, THCMC Food Grade CMC can control paste viscosity and strengthen water retention and guarantees a longer shelf life.

Using in instant noodles, THCMC Food Grade CMC increases toughness and cooking-resistance of noodles. It decreases the lipid and crispness of noodles as well. Adding in biscuits and cookies formulations, THCMC Food Grade CMC can bring better formability and smooth surface for these products.
