Potassium Fluoborate

Properties: It’s white powder or gelatinous crystal. Density: 2.498g/cm3. Melting point: 530℃.Not hygroscopic. It is hardly soluble in water, ethanol or ether; insoluble in alkaline solution. Strong acid can decomposed KBF4 into BF3. Fluoride and borate will form while melting with alkali metal carbonate. Good free Liquidity.
Application: Used as flux in material metal manufacturing; used as metal surface treatment material; used as component of grinding wheel and abrasive material; used as fire retardant for cotton and artificial fiber; used as material to produce Boron trifluoride and other fluoride; used as addition agent for manufacturing boron aluminum alloy; used as analytical reagent for chemical synthesis; used in metallurgy of used as rodent for the removal of exposed lead in printed circuit board.
Packing and storage: Typical bulk packaging 25KG or 1200KG in plastic woven bag with inner PE film bag. Stored in piles in cool dry warehouse, avoid being damaged, polluted or getting wet.
