About Us

Background
Founded in the late seventies, Tai Pan has moved on from supplying clothes to local retailers in Hong Kong to an exporter of knitwear garment. The majority of our goods are sold within Asia, mainly Japan, though our products have been worn by ladies from almost every continent.

Our production base in China is located in Dongguan, within one hour's drive across the border from Hong Kong.

Product lines
Ladies fashion: Vest, short- and long- sleeves tops, Jackets, bras and briefs etc.
Fabrics: Natural fabrics only. Pure Cotton, cotton with spandex, bamboo cotton, hemp cotton etc.

Production capacity
At present, our production capacity runs at 120,000 pcs, with a 200-strong workforce. By June 2006, a brand new building is scheduled to complete, amounting to a work space of 150000 sq. feet.

Our strengths
Tai Pan is built upon its expertise: knitwear, natural knitwear. Indeed, we are committed to manufacturing only out of natural fabrics. In addition, our supply chain is strong, a due result of "buddy" relationships with our faithful suppliers.

People are our greatest resource and we take great pride in our workers. We constantly demonstrate this though investment into a greener environment and activities organized over every major festival. Training programs are provided in areas as English, basketball, computers. At year end of 2003, the company recruited youngsters, from rural areas in the country, who were then given in-house training for sewing (we are justifiably pound of their performance today!).
