BTL was founded in 1994. The objective of the company is to manufacture superior communication products. The first product of BTL System (HK) Ltd. was an analogue key-telephone system. It offered the purchaser the choice of a cost-effective, highly featured and reliable telephone system. These criteria have been adopted by BTL as guideline for all developments.
In 1997 BTL System (UK) Ltd. was established. This UK branch office successfully brought our products and ideas to customers in the UK, Ireland, and other European countries.
Due to increased sales, BTL opened a new factory in Shenzhen (PRC) in 1999. Our 30,000 square feet factory, operated by BTL System (China) Co., is now manufacturing in excess of 30,000 telephones and 500 telephone systems per month. In addition to "BTL" branded products, we are also manufacturing products for other well-known brands such as 'Cable & Wireless', 'Alcatel' and 'Nitsuko'. These are first-class products for first-class customers.
