Mou Fung was found in 1970, Chairman Johnnie H.C. Lau has had his sights set on establishing a reputation as the finest producer
of quality denim. He has certainly succeeded in a very space of time. The company currently has a gross factory area of 330,000-sq.
ft., and employs over 380 peoples. For the year ended 31st March 1997, the company had an output of 30 million yards (this
includes all kinds of fabrics), with sales turnover of HK$ 723 million (near to US$ 94 million).
Our market share is divided between the local market (65%), North America and Europe (20%), and South East Asia and the rest
of the world (15%). The major product is high-end denim. Besides the traditional basic denim, the y include stretching (elastic) denim
and all kinds of dyed-fibers. Their characteristics are evenly dyed, no uneven dyed warp; they are shrink proof and preskewed. The
material is very comfortable to wear, being both smooth and soft. Our most popular prod ucts remain the MF8 and MF168, both
renowned for their Elegance in Shape.
The new trend of our fabric designs focus on darker shade, slub and surface interest fabric. Except the most popular 100% cotton
OE and ring yarn fabric, we also carries various fiber products like Tencel, Rayon cotton and Polynosic.
Our growing scientific and industrial technologies will continue to use the most advanced machine facilities to guarantee the high
quality of the product.
