About Us

Who we are:
Dating back to 1958 and founded as a state-owned company, Guangzhou Guanggao High Voltage Electric Apparatus Co., Ltd. (GG for short) was one of the early enterprises which was designated to manufacture power and distribution transformers, switchgears, wire and cable by original China Ministry of Machine-Building and Electronics Industry. It became private in 2000.

What we have:
-Plant size over 70,000 sqm and total investment up to 190 million RMB.
-About 750 staffs, including experienced mechanical and electrical technicians and engineers.
-Advanced labs and equipment, such as GEORG full automatic production line of iron core, German full automatic numerical vacuum gating systems, 3000kV Lightning Impulse testing device, Mitsubishi CA-21 moisture meter, Fluke Ti30 thermal imager, RM-3WE accelerometer and so on.
-Certificates: ISO9001:2000, ISO14000, OHSMS18000, KEMA & CESI certificates for power transformers and single phase transformers.

Our achievements:
-More than 3000 units of 110 & 220kV power transformers are under performance in China and overseas.
-More than 300,000 units of distribution transformers (oil and dry types) are under performance in China and overseas.
-Our products have been exported to Burma, Madagascar, Malaysia, Angola, Philippines and so on.

Our manufacturing capability:
-Power transformers up to 300kV/300mVA.
-Distribution transformers up to 36kV/63mVA.
-HV & LV Switchgears up to 40.5kV.
-HV & LV cable and wires up to 36kV.
