QUALITY SYSTEMS
MEC Imex Incorporated adheres to the established international standard for quality management of ISO 9002. The company operates in accordance with a quality management system that prescribes documented methods and processes necessary to improve quality control and in compliance with customer requirements and ISO standards.
The quality system is embodied and enforced in 3 levels of documentation: The quality manual, quality systems procedure manual and manufacturing procedure, standard and instructions.
1. LEVEL I--QUALITY MANUAL
The quality manual is the basic document that defines the corporate quality policy, organization, business operation and the quality responsibilities of each department it briefly explains the company's position relative to the 18 elements of ISO 9002 standards. It serves at the basis of all quality procedure.
2. LEVEL II--QUALITY SYSTEMS PROCEDURE MANUAL
It is compilation of quality procedure written for each element in the established standard. Each procedure stress is detail the adaptation of the Quality Manual into the operation for each section/department to serve as an operation quide. It details the scope of application, responsibilities, procedures and recording mechanisms.
3. LEVEL III--MANUFACTURING PROCEDURE/INSPECTION/STANDARD
This emphasizes in detail the standard operation practices in the manufacturing and inspection processes. It defines the "How" of a specific task on a step by step basis with either text or graphics.
